    Hey all,

Does anyone know where to locate the ABS sensors on an opel astra?

The ABS light is on and I want to clean the sensor to make sure it's not dirt before bringing it to the garage

    Thanks!

Behind the brake disc, usuall near the centre. Follow the cable down and you will find the connector at the rear of the disc.

Don't just check the sensor but also check the toothed disc that the sensor works with. To be honest, you'd be better off getting it hooked up to a computer if only just to get an idea which wheel is causing the problem, if it even is a sensor problem at all. Also, these sensors tend not to be removable, so you generally can't take them out and clean them without damaging them. I'd leave it to a garage if I was you.
