Did he ring Sony? Does he have proof of purchase such as VISA or Laser statement?

Why did he not look to get it sorted in July instead of 9 months later???

The question is, did he pay cash? If credit card or laser where used then that is all that is needed. The question above should be considered also.

I dunno being honest, when he first told me about it I told to go straight down to the shop where he brought it with or without proof of purchase to at least hear what they say but he never did.Im hoping he'll ring sony now and get it sorted.

Tell him to ring sony first, Mine broke last summer and it was well out of its warrenty but when I rang sony and told them to problem I was told my details were to be sent to the dublin office
Following morning I got an e-mail from the dublin office and they asked me for the details and the code on the console then gave me the number of a couriour and asked me to organise a pick up with them as soon as I could,
PS3 was picked up on a tuesday and I recieved one back early the following week and two weeks later I recieved my game that was stuck inside.
All of this completly free of charge so before he does anything else tell him to ring sony.
