A guy in the UK was arrested and held for more than 6 hours in a row concerning a cement pig statue in his back garden with a sign "No Pigs" .

Robin Demczak, 57, of Witney, England, said he put the black and white cement pig in his back garden with the offending sign long before Police Constable John Ablett moved in next door. :D

A former pig farmer has been quizzed by police for more than six-and-a-half hours for keeping a porcelain pig in his garden.

Robin Demczak, 57, was arrested after his neighbour Pc John Ablett complained to fellow officers about the black and white ornament.

Accompanying the ceramic swine is a painted sign reading: “No Pigs” which Mr Demczak says he wrote after his last pig died.

Talking to the Oxford Mail, Mr Demczak had this to say about his ordeal: “I told them that I had had the pig for years before my neighbour had even moved into his house.”

“I’ve got other stone ornaments of other animals, foxes, birds, things like that. Not just the pig.”

He made up a bit of a tall tale about his pig dying, I think.

Indeed. The swine should have been given at least a few years in the pen.

I think arresting him was a very hasty response. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen anything rasher.

Sure wouldn't he be allowed put what he wants in his back garden? , If it was in his front garden, you could say fair enough, but I think to arrest a bloke over something stupid like this is crazy

The copper is a bit of a boar.

Shouldn't that sign have read " No More Pigs " , it would have made more sense.
The man has more animal statues in his garden not just that one.
The copper should have been done for wasting police time, IMO.

Just noticed this. I'd rather be held for 6 hours in a row that 6 1 hour intervals. Best to get it out of the way.

I'd say it was a curly tale, if anything.

Police say the man refused to let them in to be questioned so they huffed and they puffed and they blew the house in.
