Anyone have any idea when its out?? The new series have usually started by this time of the year.

Personally I can't wait for it, it's possibly my favorite show of all time. I hear a 7th series has been commissioned as well which is great news.

Last season started in May last year. Can't find anything more solid than a "summer" this year start for season 6.

I believe season 6 should air this summer also. Fantastic show.
Just watched "The Magicians" last night, a movie from Mitchell and Webb. It was surprisingly not bad.

their other stuff just doenst do it for me. maybe peep show is just too good that anything else is below that standard.

There's plenty of vitality in Mitchell and Webb look but I guess all sketch shows are slightly hit and miss.
It's certainly a lot better than numerous other sketch shows like Horne and Corden for example.
Robert Webb was also in The Smoking Room. That's another good sitcom.
But Peep show is so excellently done it will always be what they are known for.
I guess similar to Gavin and Stacey for Horne and Corden!

Yeah I would agree that Mitchell and Webb is hit and miss. At its best its almost up there with Peep Show, but it dosn't always hit those heights.

Havn't seen The Magicians, I've heard its bad but I should really give it a shot as I love Mitchell and Webb. Plus your man Darryl (Mark's racist friend from Series 2 Episode 2) is in it so that should be reason enough!

Currently doing my dissertation on Peep Show at the moment, just about wrapping it up. Needless to say I can't wait for the return of the funniest show on television.

I wonder if this series will achieve more mainstream success? (it remains more of a cult hit, only gets one to one and a half million viewers) Mitchell and Webb's profiles have been raised quite a lot in the last year so it might get a boost from that.

Crazy to think that it was close to being cancelled a couple of seasons ago due to its poor ratings, it would've been such a shame.

It's going to be one of those major cult hits. Gets rave reviews in the States too.
The Onion AV Club are always raving about it.
    Here's one pretty interesting article:

it had and has low ratings because it's an internet phenomenon!
