Scrapped car

I scrapped a car recently and have the Certificate of destruction from the scrapyard. I want to get a refund on the tax as it is paid until end of october. Do I need any other paperwork other than tax disc, cert of destruction and logbook to receive the refund?

not too sure what is needed for tax, have only ever gotten vrt back on written of cars in the past ( before anbody asks they where registered as short term car hire, )
best thing you can do is ring local motor tax office and get it from the horses mouth
