Need a service call or so the nice chap at the end of the phone tells me but because I went through a Sky Kiosk with my order (dont think it can be done any other way in Ire) I have to get onto them for the service call, tried calling digiconnectiosn.ie, left message, sent txt, sent email, no reply yet, Called into the kiosk today- no one there, no contact details, no "back in 5 mins" message, nothing!!
Rang SKY 0818 719819 (roi customers) they didnt give a fiddlers F^%, no option but to cancel and go back to NTL, to be honest I think sky is fairly Sh1te and I would be better off with the basic setup, just too much Sh1te to wade through.

Relax, differant companies run the kiosks in Ireland. ( A more polite manner and maybe a smile wouldn,t do any harm )

Anyway, Digital Connections no longer run that Shop. I'll PM you with contact details of the company who did your install.

    huh?
Oh i just love getting the run around and being told by SKY that I will be in debit to them even thought I have paid for a service that is not fit for purpose, faulty box but we'll happily take your cash,,,,, great craic.

Would it be too much effort for digiconnections to update their site with correct numbers to whoever took over their business??

    Cheers,
    T

I think they're out of the country at the moment.

Anyway, the company who supplied your equipment is the same company that supplies all the Kiosks.

Relax, it will get sorted. I sent you the contact info

Tommy you got your sky system from an independant company not from Sky directly, So of course sky {nice chap} is going to tell you to get back onto the kiosk. AFAIK the crowd that installed your sky are contracted to an other company called Digital Direct.
Their is a thread here http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055487068 about ordering sky from Independent companies and door to door agents. I do hope you get it sorted out.
By the way how long ago did you get your sky system installed.

Hi Scaller, I hope all's well with you :)

No, this wasn't through Digital Direct, it was through a differant company. Digi Connections left it just before Christmas, no longer doing Sky in Dublin. The reason they can not be contacted is because the owner is in Spain at the moment. Abselutely disgraceful way to run a business but such is life.

    Tom, you're being sorted.

Can we just leave it at that and can someone PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASSE close this thread.

    Thanks :)
