Sticky hair

    Sounds a bit stupid but does anyone else get a sticky feeling in their hair? Its like the shampoo and conditioner hasnt been washed out properly and it looks really greasy! (literally as soon as I step out of the shower!) I figure it must have something to do with the shampoo and conditioner I'am using? (aussie) Could anyone recommend a shampoo and conditioner to combat this? I've short but thick hair thats coloured if thats any help!

    Conditioner always gave me that feeling so I stopped using separate conditioners. Try either just not using a conditioner or using a combo shampoo.

    Perhaps your using too much conditioner. A 10cent sized dollop for short hair is probably enough and rinse well.

    If you have bleach in your hair and live in a hard water area then it could be due to the water, not your shampoo and conditioner.
    I was living in a hard water area and it nearly destroyed my hair, got to the stage where I was going to my parents house every second evening to wash my hair and once when I couldn't get over there, I actually had to resort to bottled water (ah, prerecession days)!
    The hard water clings to your hair and leaves a residue, particularly if you have any bleach in your hair and makes it look dull/greasy and very hard to style :(
