Is it me or does the term 'creative' basically mean an ability to do the same thing again only differently???

Some genius decided it would good to re hash some old ads, thanks to him/her we are now seeing the worst ads of all time on TV.....

TV was bad enough without ads with absolutely no immagination!!!

I'm a sucker for them cos I was a nipper when the first colour ads were made!

Ok granted, some of them are great in fairness but every brand is doing it now and its hard enough watching ads without them all being old and annoying, if somewhat nostalgic.....

Just waiting for Coke to start doing it, although retro coke ads would be a welcome deviation from the muck they have on now!

The new/old Persil ad is a bit lazy alright.

Do any of you remember this ad from the 70s? I think it was about road safety. There was this wee fella doing the voiceover, it started when his family was getting ready in the morning for school or town or whatever, having their breakfast. They headed out, the child was running up and down the grassy knoll beside the footpath. The mother had short dark hair and looked very stressed. She grabbed the wee fella by the hand impatiently and she marched out into the road without looking...a car had to brake suddenly, a man got out and it turned out to be his father. The lad says 'it was my dad!' I remember thinking the mother looked really wicked.

Man does not create, he discovers

    I'm just impatiently waiting for:
"How many bones has a body got?
    A child's got more bones than a grown-up's got
    A child's got more bones than a grown-up's got!?
    And that's a natural law..."

Weird milk guy scaring another generation of kids witless

Still subconsciously sore about Gaby? :)

OP: 'creativity' and 'innovation' in the latter-day era are largely mythical.
