    Did a colleague ever come up too you and say, "I just sent you an email.........." and then proceed to tell you in person exactly what they had written in the email?

    WTF? why bother!!!

    Its so your collegue has a record of it.
    Basically if they ask you to do something and you dont do it, they then have proof you were asked and it'll be your ass that gets kicked to the end of the dole queue and not theirs!!

    I'd find that a lot less annoying than waiting for a computer in college to print off an essay while they're being taken up by people elbowing their friend next to them with "ooh have a look at the comment I just left on your bebo" Why not say it in person and stop holding up students that actually want to do college work on the computers!

    Because they wanted to chat to you instead - typed words could not express what they really meant to say to you by email (or something along that line or maybe not...)

    Yes they did. At first hearing someone say "Dear Sir comma new line In regard to the matter we spoke of yesterday comma I have come to a decision full stop new paragraph I think we should proceed as we initially intended full stop new paragraph Yours sincerely hypen me". seemed a bit odd, but after a while it became as natural as farting.

    i do this, why? cos your probably somebody thats a lazy c*nt that takes about 4 days to respons to emails and its somthing important that needs doing.

    Important to who? If its important to you then do it yourself. If you're not a lazy c*nt of course. If it's important to the person you send it to, they'll do it ASAP.
