    i need to write a sort of cover letter for a job i might be getting, what should i say in it?

    Èxplain why they should hire you. Highlight previous experiences that show why you are the perfect fit for the job.

    The cover letter should not be more then 1 A4; I'd recommend about half a page of text in total (with the standard signature in writing etc.). The cover letter is there to highlight why you should be hired so you need to touch on the relevant experiences/competencies you've done that match what the company needs. It should also catch the attention of the reader that you are a candidate that is worth reading on about.

    hi thnx for replies but its actually not so much a cover letter. i was told to write a blurb, explaining what i like and apparently just some 'personal' things. i just have a mental block atm
