advice on laptop purchase

Hi,

I want to buy a new laptop between €600-900, the lower the better. It will be used mainly for the web, music and (very) light gaming. I plan on keeping it a couple of years so want something reliable.

My choices are as follows:

Acer Aspire 6935

OR in a slightly higher spec

If anyone could suggest another machine that would so the same I'd be greateful. Main requirements are:

Min 3 GB RAM
160 GB hardrive
Bluetooth
Wireless
Good graphics card and screen (dont understand the specs on them too well)
Media keys as opposed to using the mouse

I'd really appreciate any help on this.

I would recommend against using laptopsdirect. I just had to deal with their customer service and was less than impressed.

I had a read through the thread about them alright. Their prices do seem to be very good though - €200-300 in some cases which can more than make up for bad customer service!

Anyone know of anybody else that can do a good deal? Any reccomendations on the model? I called into Harvey Normans yesterday just to get an idea on price...was €430 more expensive for the Vaio:D

was looking at pc magazines the other day, one of them had a cover story about best budget laptops, think a vaio was the recommended laptop, not sure what model though
