Ughh 4th year in a row that we open against the Cards.

We better go 4-1 before the bye week because that is a very tough stretch of games. Also two 10am starts in a row on the road considering how much we struggled in this area during the Nolan era. Not great.

Fins have one of the toughest schedules in years.
Suppose to be the best you have to beat the best!!!! :)

Jeez, the Jet's schedule is brutal. :(

All 4 AFC East Teams have identical schedules this year. Going to be some interesting games in there.

im liking the colts schedule, its not bad (compared to last year at least).

My God could they have giving the patriots an easier schedule

These are next season's interleague conference match-ups:

    AFC East vs. NFC South
    AFC West vs. NFC East
    AFC South vs. NFC West
    AFC North vs. NFC North

Also, all teams in the AFC East will play each team in the AFC South.
All AFC West teams play each of the AFC North teams.

All NFC East teams will play each team in the NFC South.
All NFC West teams will play each team in the NFC North.

Non AFC East Games against the Colts, Titans, Chargers, Jags, and Ravens is easy?

Don't forget lads that what appears to be an easy or hard schedule based on last years' performances, isn't always the case

The games are there to be played

Based on last yer the Patriots schedule is not easy. Just looking at the teams in the AFC East alone is enough to say its no longer easy. Jets are looking better get a decent QB and they are golden, The Bills get TO giving them that extra spark, and The Fins are still growing. Jebus as a Pats fan our conference games are enough to make us sweat.

brennaldo im sorry but that is just Patriots hating right there blinding you.

edit: In fact i you read any of the analysts the Patriots schedule is apparently the leagues 3rd toughest schedule based on last years performances.

they didnt get the chargers. and the jags is easy enough, ya should also beat the ravens.

well my opinion is that the patriots should do well with the schedule, maybe they might even make the playoffs :P haha

Patriots have the 3rd strongest strength of schedule!!! (Which generally doesnt really mean that much)

They had the easiest last year because all the AFC East teams from the year before had terrible records, now from last year they all have good records boosting the Pats strrength of schedule.

Easy? Colts away again, how many years has that happened? Falcons, Ravens, Falcons, at Bucs, Titans, at NO, Carolina, then the Jags and Houston...there are no cupcake teams in that list, where are the 49ers? Lions? Raiders? Chiefs? Rams? Seahawks? Bengals? Browns?

The Jags are the easiest team we play outside the AFC East and they are supposed to be a sleeper team for next year!

    !

Bit much expecting to play them two years in a row!

Pretty good Oaklands raiders schedule. First 3 matches are vs chargers, @ chiefs, vs broncos. With the chargers being notourisly slow starters it's the best time to play them. Good chance of going 3-0 and clocking up a loss for each division rival. Our bye week is week 9 which is perfect, last few years it's been very early. Trips to the cold of Pitt, Denver and Cleveand in December isnt ideal though and then we finish at home to the Ravens.

He says dismissively about the team one win from the Super Bowl last season. I expect they'll be a tougher opponent than the Colts next year. :pac:

AFC West has the NFC East this year though. The best conference in the NFC recently. Includes a Thanksgiving clash against the Cowpies.

I think Hazy's was reffering to the Colts schedule with that sweeping statement. :D

I mean the way the games panned out. We were always going to play the NFC East but the schedule could of been alot worse.

yeah suppose your right, thats why the pats "clearly did beat us" and how you "clearly did make the playoffs" last season :p:p

teams can change over the off-season,

2 seasons ago the dolphins won only one game, last season they made the playoffs, im just saying that i still dont see them as the hardest opponents to beat

Seahawks have a tough enough list. Afc South and Nfc North plus the Cards twice. 3 roadgames in a row as well. However, i do reckon they could go 10-6 if everyone stays healthy(big ask after last year). No primetime or monday night games again.

1 Sun, Sept. 13 vs. St. Louis Rams. W
2 Sun, Sept. 20 at San Francisco. W
3 Sun, Sept. 27 vs. Chicago Bears. L
4 Sun, Oct. 4 at Indianapolis Colts. L
5 Sun, Oct. 11 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars. W
6 Sun, Oct. 18 vs. Arizona Cardinals. W
    7 Bye
8 Sun, Nov. 1 at Dallas Cowboys. L
9 Sun, Nov. 8 vs. Detroit Lions. W
10 Sun, Nov. 15 at Arizona Cardinals. L
11 Sun, Nov. 22 at Minnesota Vikings. W
12 Sun, Nov. 29 at St. Louis Rams. W
    13 Sun, Dec. 6 vs. San Francisco 49ers. W
14 Sun, Dec. 13 at Houston Texans FOX. W
15 Sun, Dec. 20 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. W
16 Sun, Dec. 27 at Green Bay Packers . L
17 Sun, Jan. 3 vs. Tennessee Titans. L

    Too optimistic?

Too early to perdict which games you're team will win or loose!. Quite often the easier looking games are the ones that turn out to be a loss while the hard looking ones turn out to be a victory.

Anything can happen as well as taking injuries into account.

Bears with the easiest schedule. Lions bring the % down a bit. 7 playoff teams all the same

That's realistic enough. I really think people are going over the top on the Bears but I could see Minnesota and Tampa beating the Seahawks too though.

Anyone any idea how difficult it would be for a drive from Chicago to Lambeau..planning on a trip to see Bears VS Vikings and Green Bay VS Seahawks..both games on in December 27th/28th so i presume snow will be a big factor?

I think you should be ok tbh. Snow and bad weather will make the trips longer and more difficult on the driver, but major highways are generally kept in good nick unless there are exceptionally bad snowstorms and drifts. It's about a four hour drive assuming no major traffic / other delays along two interstates (I-94 towards Milwaukee and then I-43). Just get on the road as early as possible on the 28th (for a number of obvious reasons) and you should be fine. Oddly enough, driving is a better bet than flying in this case.

If you're doing it, get booking accommodation and stuff as soon as possible! :)

So Ok by your own statement you make such ridiculous claims then that the Patriots have an easy schedule. So can you see into the future then? Stop contradicting yourself.

At least the Pats have excuse for struggling this season whats the colts excuse? With Brady back and our D to be strengthened in the coming months. Please bring on the C*nts anyday even if we have to play you muppetts at home for the last 3 years running.

I have done that trip twice and live in WI half the year. It will take you an 1 and 30mins to get from Chicago to Milwaukee and thats without traffic and snow as luckylyold mentioned. I-94 takes you practically alll the way to Milwaukee. From Milwaukee then the I-43 then the US-41 takes you all the way up to Green Bay. Those roads are bad under snow storms but they are gritted regularly. Wisconsin roads are looked after very well and even with heavy snow during the day you should be fine. Total trip time without snow and bad weather 3.41 mins but if there is bad snow throw an extra hour on there.

Just noticed your dates yeah I would give yourself some extra time for the drive. One good thing about that part of the country they have the ability to get on with it in snow unlike ireland life goes on.

Ok lads, I've deleted that last series of off topic posts. My apologies for starting the conversation that way in the first place - I hold my hands up. :o

Lets get back to talking about football! :)

Thanks for the replies lads. The weather issue is at the forefront alright but as i'm trying to get two games (possibly crucial ones) back to back then these two are the easiest to get to in the shortest amount of time.
