    Hi all,

Lost my phone there 3 days ago.Couldn't for the life of me find out were it was.Realised I left it on the bus and figured well now its definetly gone:(
Was with some friends today and we were going to meet up with other people.

So we go up and meet with these 3 girls. One of them hands my phone to me, at this stage im in shock:O With many questions needing answering:S. Apparently, she looked through my phonebook and found a guys name that we both knew and rang him and sorted the whole thing out.

I was happy as usually you drop a phone on the bus and its gone, very nice of the girl. Just wanted to throw a thanks up and see has something similar happend to other people in Ireland?

I've lost my phones four times over the years. I got it back twice. No cool stories though, people just gave it to the bus driver or a security guard.

Is your take on being nice following a people and keep on telling them that their hot and sit outside their house with flowers waiting for them to appear again to resume being nice?

Does your phone vibrate & if so does it smell different now?

Left my wallet in the departures lounge in Dublin Airport, got handed it back (before realising I had lost it) upon arrival at my hotel in Dubai... Still no idea how it happened but there ya go.

Everything still in it to... I have however noticed some strange purchases on the credit card in Somalia, probably just the wife and her exotic food fetish though.

i pickpocket people and then contact them. Usually i remove a little money in case they dont give me anything, but they are delighted to get it back and we both walk away smiling :)

i got on the bus one time over a year ago. was just off the dart and going about 4 stops on the bus. as i got on and spotted a free seat i walked towards it and spotted a white phone on the seat, i asked the person in the seat next to it was it theirs and they said no, i headed towards the driver to hand it in and then the phone rang..i answered it and spoke to a girl, i said i just found it on the bus, she said she had got off the bus a few mins before, i said i would get off the bus and head back in the other direction.. and find her..at this point others on the bus were listening and figuring out what was going on..i explained to the female bus driver who looked at me with admiration through the rear view mirror and stopped to let me off..
i walked back in the other direction and she rang her phone again, we realised we wern't far from one another so said we'd meet at the corner of Fairview,
went down and met her, she was nice, she was on her own and i was confused how she had rang her phone, strangely she had a second phone, she said thanks and i said your welcome and i said well im going back up this way she said she was too, she was not from dublin but studying up here, we walked together and discovered lots in common, even that she lived in the same estate as me, we got back on another bus and walked more when we got off, i showed her a short cut to where she lives..and she called me a legend for helping her! anyway a good deed can lead to alot more, however in my case i got her phone but didnt ask for her number (kicking myself) :)

i found a phone in the Button Factory a couple of weeks ago. So went outside and rang the last person in the text, told them i had the phone, gave them my number and said to get the owner to give me a call.

Owner called, said id meet him outside. He came out and grabbed the phoen of me, turned his back and walked off. I grabbed him and said a thanks would be nice, he just turned and walked of.

What a knob, i should of thrown the card down the toilet and kept the phone...
