Probably not worth it. Most pistols shoot at 270-290fps with .2g, best to not sweat it and spend your money elsewhere.

thanks for the kind advice but looking at other pistols on eirsoft and other retailers some of the pistols are 0.81 and 0.86 joule and on the fps to joule converter mine is only 0.68 which i a bit low,but i understand that all guns are different so would 0.68 be good for a baby capa 1911?

    put in a high flow

its A valve installed in the magazine of a gas pistol that allow for more gas flow. Although you get more FPS on each shot, you consume more gas and will most likely have cooldown (rapid release of gas causes the gas to get colder and less powerful)

or if you handy/carefull you can turn the old one into a homemade one by fileing out two of the 4 holes this will allow better air flow with less restrection.

to be honest with you there mate what you just said is like chinise to me.
this will be my first pistol so when i get it in the post on monday i am going to bring it to someone who knows about airsoft AEG and pistols and have them tell me how to maintain it.....
but thanks again im sure that your post will help others :):):)

Pistols are only meant for close range anyways so .7j is fine.
Also with gas varying wildly with the temperature its safer for you to leave it well under.

You could also try different gas but this could result in damage to the gun. I did it to my TM HiCapa, broke the air nozzle cause the recoil was too hard. Naturally this wasn't covered under warranty :p

so if i was using that pistol in a place like the warehouse it would be the same as any other pistol?

Absolutely. There is no reason to need more power given the distances that you will be shooting are so short.

easiest way is to chande the gas are you using butane?

next easiest way to up the fps on a pistol is a 6.03 barrel or a 6.01 if you are willing to look after it

its trial and error on fps and i dont know what the barrel is as std

    make sure it stays legal

you could always try using .12's
you will still have the same power but they will fly faster (higher fps)

i got a bottle of high grade ones from airsoft world, out in the open there rubbish and fly everywhere but where im shooting but indoors there is no wind (as such) and there fine:cool: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055531045

just dont use those chepo one's you get on hols, they will just destroy the inside of the barrell

since Dr-pepper told me that there isent really that much of a difference on power i might aswell leave it as it is.

another question :after a while will it decrease in fps, like will it drop down to 250 at some stage and if that happens is there anything i can do to get it back to its original fps(270)

As you fire it, the gun/magazine will cool down reducing the fps, warm up the mag and it'll go back up:)
