    basically i'm wondering if i chose the right course!! i'm a first year. if i decided at this stage to change my course what expenses would i be looking at paying?! fees wise etc.

    Under the current system you would be liable for fees for the 1st year of the next course you decide to do. Yours subsequent years would be free then.
    However we don't know what the situation will be now with the reintroduction of tuition fees.
