Hi guys was out playing golf last week when the head of my driver snapped off and I'm looking to get it repaired. Could anyone recommend anywhere I could get this done in the Dublin/Kildare area ?? Thanks in advance

Any pro shop should be able to do it for you. The cost will mostly depend on the price of the new shaft.

Just as an aside to this, a wooden tee broke in the top of my club and has found its way down into the shaft. It slides up and down as you're swinging the club which can be quite irritating. Any advice on the cest way of dealing with it?

The best thing would be to get the club regripped (or do it yourself) and take out the tee when you have the grip off.

A re-grip would be the quickest and easiest way
get it done for 15 quid no biggie

If you bring the club to your local pro shop they should take off the current grip, remove the broken tee and put a new grip on for something close enough to €12-15

Hiya. If it is a recognised premium brand(Callaway, T/Made, Ping etc) you have two choices. You can get it reshafted by the original manufacturer, sending it back via one of the main retailers ie American Golf or McGuirks. This wil set you back approx 100 euro, take about a fortnight but you will get the same shaft in it as the one that broke.

Option 2 is to bring it to a local pro shop and they will reshaft it with anything from a bog standard spurious shaft(50 euro) to a recognised shaft by the likes of Aldila, UST, Mitsushiba etc. who are industry leading shaft manufacturers where you will pay more. Joe Mc Grath in Celbridge DR is pretty good at that kinda stuff.

My advice to you is that if you really liked it and it was a branded club then send it back to get the same shaft in it.
    Hope this helps.
