    Hi All,

Can anyone advise me, I am looking for one of those little hats Dita Von Teese wears or even an unusual fascinator, it is to wear at Punchestown Ladies day...

Can anyone advise, Debenhams, Arnotts etc had nothing much of interest, looking for something unusual that wont break the bank obviously!

    thanks!
    ;)

An alternative to a hat might be one of the hairbands with flowers and things on them. Dunnes have a really reasonable range in now and they start at about e8. Might be worth a look!

There is a bead shop in temple bar called Beads and Bling.
They have some fascinators in there.
Plus...they make them there too, so you could probably design one and have it made.
I'm not sure what the prices are like though.

I know their stuff is usually at the 15 year old girl end of couture but try Claire's Accessories. I got a cute little hat type thing there for the Galway Races last year, very Dita.
Black, sort of a diamond shape with the comb underneath and the little netting that came over the side of the face. Hard to describe!! Think it was about €20.

Try the Loft market in Powerscourt Cenrte over the weekend. They're sure to have some unique, handmade or vintage ones.

    Hi There,

I've seen miniature top-hats on hairbands in Monsoon/Accessorize... Very Cute.

I got all the bits in Beads and Bling! Thanks!!!

Minature top hat, comb attachment piece, ribbons, feathers and Merry Widows netting!!!

Yay! Now to try to assemble the thing! lol

Still it was great value at €27 for the lot, I imagine a hat made up would cost €100 !!

    Thanks for the tip!

Try 'Tootsie Royale Millinery'. You'll find a link to Tootsie on MySpace. Sorry can't link for you, damned firewall. She has a large range of miniture and doll hats and will make them up to your specifications if necessary.

    Edit:
Oooops, sorry, I should have read your last message. Forget I said anything at all. Move along please, nothing to see here...

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

    I love that shop :)

Good luck with making the hat.

At least you know no-one else will be wearing the same one :)
