Party Dress worn once bored

I just put on a Lipsy dress that I last worn for New Year and was planning to wear again to wedding in a few weeks.
Image of dress, got it in red:

My god, Im bored of it, bugger. Even tried to see if I could turn into mini dress or top with leggings doesnt work.
Now I have to go out and buy a new dress.

Is there anywhere online or in shop where you can sell or swop your party dress worn only once or twice?

My other option is my long evening dress black/silver/grey which Im happy to keep as great for dinner dances.
Not sure if too dressy/dark or bridemaidy for a summer wedding.

    Tips welcome.

It looks like it could be okay with liquid leggings, if you like those.

Why not get new accessories? Nice patent shoes and a chunky bracelet would be cool.

It's a lovely dress but I know what you mean. I get tired of looking at my own clothes very quickly too. When I've worn something to an event it just looks old the next time I put it on.

I would have no problem with wearing it again to a niteclub or night out by jazz it up with accessories and different shoes.
But for a wedding, I just think its boring.
Im small so its knee lenght.
I did that the wet look shiny leggings today and shorten the lenght by turning it up, its too funky for wedding, fine for a nite club but not classy for wedding.

So could I get away with the black/sliver long dress or is it too dark for a summer wedding which Im thinking its is.

I would love to get a vintage style dress, have seen a few online but expensive.
Another idea is I have an old bustier top and long skirt that flick out to the ground, I was thinking of bringing to dressmaker and convert it into a heart shaped strapless dress?
    Would this be possible.
But I hate the bustier its very dated to me unless I bring to dressmaker to jaz it up.
How much would it cost me?
Wish i did a dressmaking course so I can customise my clothes myself. Hmm..

Theres a website called beads & bling that sell beads, swarkovski crystals etc. You could buy the beads & sew them onto it.
Also you could buy a fabric paint & put a design on the dress like writing or a floral pattern.
Buying a different colour fabric from Hickeys & making roses or adding on a feathered effect would be easy enough to do too.
Call into a fabric shop & ask about different fabrics to use & how best to use them.
I've changed a few dresses, due to the recession, & it has worked out very well for me.

Altering it would be a good way to go if your in any way crafty.

however on the swop idea, we are trying to get the whole idea of swopping stuff back because theres so much stuff out there that people don't need anymore just collecting dust which could suit someone else perfectly.

Check out the sig for the address, see how it goes.
