****ing great episode. Well focused, good storylines, nice development. The thing with Angela stealing the socks was great and the "Block 26" building at Coyote Sands.

One thing bothered me. At the end, when they're sitting in the diner and they see Sylar on TV under the guise of Nathan.... How? It's been fairly strongly implied that he needs to make physical contact with someone before he can take on their form like when James Martin touches Agent Jenkins' face (in the GN) to become him, then he goes into Building 26 as Jenkins and shakes hands with Danko so he can take his identity. Then he touches a janitor to appear like him and escape.... But Sylar hasn't touched Nathan since gaining that ability...... Hmmmm.........

yeah that was a bit strange, another continuity error i assume.

i think we have opposite opinions on this show! I thought this ep was weak overall again. Liked the part where Angelas sister came down the stairs though! That was great.

I dont know. Quite weak again I think.

Drawn out. For a penultimate episode it was very slow-paced. It is now rushing towards the finale with all the pace of a snail.

    Bit of a let down.

Meh....it wasn't brilliant or amazing, it was good but didn't have any "wow" factor....EXCEPT for the end, the twist with Sylar was awesome...these days anything involving Sylar rocks!

The actress who played young Angela was excellent, her acting was very good...but the whole backstory was, meh....hardly groundbreaking or uber revealing was it?, nice touch having it in B&W though. We din't really learn that much, guess we'll have to now see what Sylar is upto.

But, is this story line tieing in with the old series storyline in the future where Sylar assume Nathans identity?, remember when he was President...series 2?

    3/5...

    ps. Company Man?....i think not!

This episode had no point to it what so ever,

Dr Seresh in session 1 says hes spent his whole life trying to find somebody with abilitys, and now it turns out he worked in a whole camp with them?

The whole sylar thing becoming President. Its the story line from "5 Years Gone" in session 1 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Years_Gone , except Peter is a gimp.

That bugged me as well, yes. They did say something about erasing peoples' memories but that's kinda a stretch.....

Think it was a smile of panicked amusement at the stakes being suddenly raised.

Or that Sylar has given them a way out of the situation, Kill fake nathan and replace him with real nathan.

I thought it was only an average episode, and can't see how much was accomplished for this season but as for a build up for next season it could be the great for flashbacks, how the company was formed and the early history etc.. etc..

I think they could of expanded the Darma Initiative Camp a bit more and give a few more clues, maybe Jacob was behind this. But anyway it's good to see Rousseau got her hair dyed but she's still a bit of a nutter living on her own, and smokey has upgraded him self to tropical storms status now.

I thought it was pretty average overall. I found the whole Angela/Alice storyline a bit hard to swallow. We're supposed to believe that Angela, who's been so powerful and well connected, along with her other equally powerful, well connected friends, made no effort whatsoever to deal with the fallout of the shooting incident. We're supposed to believe that her young sister was able to survive in the remote wilderness on her own for so long without anyone checking the area out? What about Angela's parents? Wasn't it said that they supported the move to send the pair of them there?

I found the episode quite farfetched to be honest but the ending was cool.

Am I the only one who thought that Angela's sister was a stupid character and was totally pointless?

Hopefully will be better next week

Nope, i agree with you. Like i said in my first post i didnt c the point of the whole episode other than to throw up a load of plot holes.

All filler no killer and that is unusual seen as even at its worst, there was always some killer moments. The slowest moving of all the eps so far.

It was an ok episode. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Definately not a great setup for the final episode. It was interesting to see what happened back then but had the feeling of 'we're still making this up as we go along' to it. I didn't even think that having Sylar on TV as Nathan was that great a twist.

Did anyone else notice that Peter, Nathan and Claire didn't even ask where Mohinder came from. He just attacked HRG and then he met the rest outside without even an odd look from them.

I've never seen any of the characters take a dump either, but then, I don't need to see every tiny detail of their lives to follow the storyline....... yeesh.

good episode, nice backstory for angela and the company. there'll need to be another one for how she hooked up with Mr. Petrelli and how Hiro's dad got involved at some stage...

the sylar/nathan ending was good i thought, especially nathan's reaction. somebody asked about angela's smile above - i thought she was smiling because she knew the only way to defeat Sylar was if the Petrelli "family" were united against him - her plan to get them together worked - even if it cost her dearly.

my money is on Sylar being killed next week...

A little 'when did you get here?' would have been nice though.

Most pointless episode of anything ever. Been extremely disappointed with Heroes this season but this episode really stank. There doesn't feel like there's any end game to it anymore. No mission, no task to complete. It's very disjointed and pointless. I'm actually looking forward the the end of this season so I can just forget about it and hope that next season it improves dramatically. Also, I would LOVE to punch Peter hard in the face.

That was a god-awful episode. Pure filler, and it's not like heroes is so good that they can afford to do filler episodes. They need to keep the show moving or people will lose interest.
I almost switched off half way through until the sister showed up, and then she was gone again just as quick, ffs, what a waste of time.

There should be an option of no stars for episodes like this one.

Since the last few episodes have been great with Brian back on the team, this came as a bit of a letdown. It didn't really advance the story at all, I thought the whole point of Angela visiting her sister was so she'd be able to tell them where to go next??

I gave it four stars. Four stars is the censored version of shít, right? What a rubbish episode. It was pretty boring and nothing really happened. Sylar on the tv at the end was nice. Mohinder getting hit by lightning was fantastic until he got up a few minutes later. :(

yeah i thought she was gonna figure out Mohinder was related to the good doc and take her revenge out on him. it would of been nice alright.

I notice that a few people have mentioned that this was the penultimate episode of the series but according to IMDB there are two more episodes left.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0813715/episodes

I was also disappointed with it. It didn't really bring anything new to the story line and just distracted from other more interesting plot lines.

Well they did use it as a way of setting up the new company........

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that Sylar gets robbed of his powers/memory while in the form of another person and is stuck like that.

So Sylar lives but as another actor!!

Hopefully the Hatian has something to do with it.

Poor stuff. So much wasted flashbacks. Introducing the sister so she can disappear again. All very pointless.

    Yeah there's two left http://epguides.com/Heroes/

Too many bits & pieces of this was filler & didnt make sense apart from the backstory of how they all met up & formed the company.

Ah jees that Peter pisses you off, he's just too much of a do-gooder, you'd love to whack him one.

Am i right in thinking Claire said to Angela "why didnt you say Peter & Nathan were your sisters kids?" at the camp.

Looks like another showdown with Sylar, but lets hope it isnt the anti-climactic letdown of S1

What a pointless epsiode, pure filler.

There was no plot development what so ever

The only thing of any note was the very end of the episode, when we see Sylar impersonating Nathan.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 219 ✭✭Perrin

Its all been said already but ya a letdown after the last few episodes were good, pointless in parts, although did enjoy the sylar bit at the end but sylar is always good(hope they don't kill him off)

Also actually quite liked the bits with Charles Deveaux in it,I'd like more of him in the future, although could be limited what with him dead an all.
