is it just me or is http://www.iarnrodeireann.ie http://www.buseireann.com/ http://www.irishrail.ie/ and.. www.cie.ie all down? Is this some disgruntled employee or something?

No, its the middle of the night and either they are doing maintenance or the servers have crashed and theres nobody to reboot them.

As someone who works with servers as part of the day job we tend to do any sorta maintenance that would entail downtime at 4am at the weekend. It tends to be the time you get the lowest hits on websites.
