I would be loathe to bet on the Bayern Barca game at all really, could go wither way with the progressing team in no doubt. Messi will likely be rested I think as he is on a yellow card isn't he?

    Barca to miss a peno

    15/1

    Porto/Draw
    Liverpool win
    Barca win
    Arsenal win

    14/1

    Add Hamburg 54/1!

The Hamburg odds remind me of when Liverpool went to Milan for the second leg against Inter, Pool were 2-0 up from 1st leg and yet at 3.75/1 with PP. Any old fool could have seen what was likely to happen and it did - Liverpool cruised to victory in San Siro. Hamburg will do likewise.

He has 1 yellow to his name. he needs 3 for a suspension

Chelsea look a decent price to beat Liverpool again.

Chelsea look a decent price to beat Liverpool again.

One problem there might be how Chelsea approach the game. They can lose and be just fine. I'd probably go with the draw if i was backing the game. Liverpool will score i think but Chelsea may catch them on the counter attack. 1-1 for me.

Porto are 10/11 to qualify against United. United are clearly not over their bad patch going by the Sunderland game. I just can't see them winning in Porto unless Porto get overly negative in the game.

I've only seen Porto play once this year but there's no way I'd back them at 10/11 to qualify from this tie

United will pip Porto 2-1 I think.

Does anyone know if Bayern have their first choice defence back? Because if not I can't see them getting a draw nevermind a win.

Yes, I feel Barca will still be too strong for Bayern. Need to check out team sheet. If Messi is there, def get on em. Also check out for Toni.

    my bet for the week
Drogba to get a goal in 90 min 13/8
    Hamburg to win 11/4
    Sporting Fingal to win 10/11

    €10 returns 187.93

Heh, I REALLY hope you don't.

Fancy Arsenal to win with no Cazorla or Senna for Villareal.

    Gone for -

1 Porto v Man Utd (Backing Porto OR The Draw @ 1.81)
    2 Dinamo Kiev v Paris St-G (Backing Dinamo Kiev @ 1.8)
    3 Arsenal v Villarreal (Backing Arsenal @ 1.52)
4 Chelsea v Liverpool (Backing Chelsea OR The Draw @ 1.43)

    @ 7.11

Sorry Xavi! Guess one of us is going to be unhappy at the end of the night! Once its not a draw, in which case I lose my money, and your team still gets knocked out!

With the Arsenal injury list at the back, I'm wondering about a Villareal/draw option.

    Heres a few accus odds

    Drogba anytime/Barca/Hamburg 23/1
    Torres anytime/Barca clean sheet/Hamburg 43/1
    Villareal & draw/Porto to Qualify/Barca/Hamburg 42/1

    thats a good one

dont like the 43/1 ,barca are pretty bad in the back

    Bayern -V- Barca

I’m having a shot on Ribery to score anytime @ 10/3 with Hills tonight. This lad is one of the best wingers in the world at the moment. He is also the normal penalty taker which is another bonus. When the pressure is on you can look on him to score a goal. The French had back to back games against Lithuania a fortnight ago winning both 1-0. Ribery bagged the goals in each game. For Bayern this season, Domestic and European, he has played in 29 games scoring 11. That’s a very decent return for a player in that position. The 10/3 is too big for me to ignore.

    Ribery to score @ 10/3 (Hills) - 2pts.

Can you do multiples on betfair apart from win/lose/draw?

2049: GOAL Bayern Munich 1-0 Barcelona (agg 1-4)
Ze Roberto's through-ball beats the offside trap and Franck Ribery waits for Victor Valdes to commit himself before side-footing the ball past him.

Good shout! Wish I had some money on that!

Yea seems like a lot of people did. If Dunne had of got sent off in the first half like he probably deserved to and Ref hadnt of given that peno, we'd probably be a lot happier!
