Samsung HDTV Help

i have picked out to Samsung 40" HDTVS...both round the 999 euro mark but they are lightly different and i have no experience in hdtvs, i am wondering i anyone could take a look at both links and read about both tvs and vote for the best tv and what i should buy please?...if anyone has a better tv for round 1000 euros your more than welcome to post a link to it i will have a look:Dthanks guys here are the links...(btw i think the 2nd link is a newer model so im leaning towards that)

How about the Samsung LE40B650 for £820,approx 911 euro,it's newer than the other two and has additional functions(tv internet widgets),see it on www.richersounds.com ,they deliver for boards members for £20,they have the A656 for £680 too.

hey thanks for the reply ill check that site out now...but shoudlnt a newer model of something be dearer in price than a older model?....so this richersounds site does a deal with boards members?sorry if im asking stupid questions im new to all this:(

The newer model would be dearer most places,the exception being the Sony 40W5500 which is less than the previous model,the W4500,but R.S are fairly keen with their prices,if you give them a call,tell them you're on boards and ask for the £20 delivery,they're very helpfull,I've a Sony 46 W5500 on order from them,not in stock yet.They have a forum here under "Biz"(commercial interaction).:)

I'd go for the 756 as it's the higher model, better specs and better design asthetically.

I've got the 686 myself and I love it, not mad about the red tinge or the oval stand on the 656

ye ye i love the 756 but i think on your tv the red design is sooo cool looking it makes it eye catching

You could ring John Mc Donald tomorrow,Mark,his no. is 01 8439231,he's the managing director of Richer sounds or you could ring the store in Belfast and chat the lad's about their recommendation,as they'd have seen them both.

i have looked both up on the internet on many websites and out of all i read the one i picked seems better than the newer model u picked cos i read the new model has bad SD viewing and "horrible" for PS3 gaming(something to do with lag)...bummer since i will be playing ps3 mostly on it.....im gona go ahead with the 1 i picked out...do i order from richersound or do i have to contact john to order?

The 686 doesn't have the red tinge or the oval stand, the 656 does!
