I would like to know what are the options for martial arts around the Carlow area. We are not decided on any style yet and would be beginners looking to get started.
I wouldnt mind hearing what styles are more suited to beginners looking to make progress quickly also.
Also your opinions as to the pros and cons of various styles.

    Cheers

The BJJ instructor is Mick Aldridge (ph:086 0841073).
He's the instructor from the Athy BJJ club but he goes down to Carlow every Fri nite to do a class.
You wont be asked to commit to anything in terms of monthly fee's if thats what your getting at. You can just pay per class.
I'm sure begineers are welcome - drop him a line if your interested in trying a class & he'll let you know.
