    Thanks in advance!

If you pitch it smart enough a lot of the time you'll get it in for free. Pitch it as a service you're offering their staff free of charge. They have snacks at the ready all the time and you will take care of all the maintanence, service, re-stock. They'll never have to worry about anything except what to eat or drink. Give it that sort of angle.

If its a case they dont accept that, I think its more common to cut them in on a percentage profit share of 5-10%.

    Thanks for the reply MediaWorld!

Have you any idea the best way about setting up a small operation ... Is it best to lease a machine or two from a company & buy stock in local cash & cash etc... ?

Is this alot of hassle for little Return or if I could one of these into a good location for little money if none would it make a nice profit ?

    Thanks again!

I'm not an expert but if i was you i would be buying second hand machines until you're sure its a money maker for you. That way the profit can go towards paying them off and then when they're paid off you're clear in profit. A good bit of hassle alright, you'll have to keep em stocked each week and wont be clearing huge money by any means while you're paying off the machines and stock.

If you build it up and have a few machines on the go that would be worthwhile but one or two machines is only going to yield pocket money, unless you have them in really high traffic locations. And yes, cash and carry to start. There are other ways but thats probably you're best option.

Where vending machines are concerned, i'd find a niche. Look at the japanese and what they're doing. Everything comes out of a vending machine over there!

    Thanks again!

Any idea where one could pickup 1/2 second hand machines ... ?

What kind of percentage profit could one make? Like I know average Coke/similar 500ml bottles sell in machines for around 1.80 mark ...

Any idea what price you can wholesale these at?

I'm trying to weigh up all my options at the moment, really interested in making some pocket money :D

    Thanks again mate!

Best thing you can do is pop down your local cash n carry, or all the local ones to you and have a look at what the various things are selling for. As for machines, try buy an sell or similar. Remember, anything you ever need to find is available in seconds - its called Google! :D Give it a shot if you;re into it, worst comes to the worst, at least you'll still have the machines to resell. Get them at the right price and you'll fine.
