I was wondering this yesterday. Whose entitled to a 6 nations medal? Obviously the squad for the Wales match plus the extras who travelled get one but what about those who were in squads for other matches but not for the Wales match? MOK is the only player I can think of who wasn't in the Wales squad but was in others, does he get a medal?

Quinny mentioned in an interview that Mal, and I think Shaggy and Girv, got medals. I'm unsure of what the actual qualifications for getting one are though. I would have thought you'd have to be in at least one match-day squad, but Quinny, Jennings and Earls never were so I dunno.

I would imagine the entire extended squad gets medals.

As I understand it anyone that made it onto the pitch for any of the games gets one, not sure about unused subs but fairly sure if someone from the squad didn't make it onto the bench for a match they don't qualify..

Maybe I'm wrong, I really amn't sure.. I can't imagine everyone that was in training with the team in that period gets one though?

Maybe I'm getting it mixed up with who qualifies for a Heineken Cup Medal? Or it could be something I heard from someone who didn't know what they were talking about :D That's why I was careful to use "fairly sure" instead of "certain" ;)

Couldn't find anything on the 6 nations site but found this for the H Cup.. Wonder if it's the same setup?

But a 35 man squad was named at first I think. I'm pretty sure Jennings, Quinlan and Earls were called up due to injury concerns to Leamy and Kearney. Maybe that's why they got medals.
