i decided to try daily disposables about 3 years ago, mainly because i didnt wanna fork out for presciption sunglasses when going to america for a few weeks, as my bro lent me a nice pair of shades.

i found them handy enough to learn to put in/ take out, takes a bit of practice, maybe a dozen times before i could do it confidently.

anyway, the first day proper that i was wearing them i got a huge kick just looking at things, and not wearing glasses.

things dont focus any better than with normal glasses but i found the benefits to be

1- no heavy glasses on my nose and ears
2- no light reflecting of my glasses lenses
3- no scratches on the lenses
4- full perfect periferal vision (great!!)
5- no pushing you glasses up your nose
6- dont have to worry about glasses falling etc

i'd def reccomend to anyone to try them out. most opticians will give you a few free pairs as a trial.

    I agree

Once ye get your first fitting, and where them for a week, you'll be fine

I actually cant feel them anymore when I wear them, pure comfort!

As was said above, the benefits are great

    Thanks guys!;)
C-note i wouldnt expect them to be better than the glasses, but thats exactly why i want to get them. also i spend a fair bit of time outside in all weather, and theres nothing worse than not being able to see in front of you because of the rain on the glasses lenses.

My vision isn't quite as good with my contacts as it is with my glasses. With contacts I notice that using the computer is more of a strain on my eyes, and viewing, say, a tv screen in a pub from a distance isn't as easy. But I have a stigmatism that can't be corrected with contacts so that's probably why there's a slight difference.

Benefit still far outweighs the drawbacks. You'll never look back!! (No pun intended)
