    Hello All,
Saw this advertised in the UK Argos catalogue at £127. Says it will scan all cars manufactured from 2001. Shows fault codes and allows resets. Anybody bought one of these? Appreciate any comments. DJ

As far as I know this is only a OBDII scanner.
So per definition is has little hability to read specific car manufacturers codes.
So it will only give you some information, and sometimes the wrong ones.
This model can be bought in UK for 50 pounds. So not really a cheap option at Argos Ireland.

If you want a scanner for your personal car, just go with a specific one for your car. One that is able to read the specific codes of it.

This type of scanner will only read engine codes. it will not read any other systems of the car eg ABS, SRS. and will only work on diesel cars from 04 . And petrol from 01.
