The three cars are in different locations, one, a petrol blue one is in a shed in Monkstown, co. Cork, the second one, a bright red one, is sitting in a driveway in Cork and there's another red one in Cork city centre, I haven't seen it myself but I know two people who have seen it and it supposed to be fairly good. The other two would be good enough for drifting.

the red one is gone, i had the lads number for it last year when i was living out foreign and when i came back its gone,

she had bit of rust and missing some trim etc so would have been ideal, cant remember how much he was looking off me for it, somewhere about the grand mark

must go to monkstown in the future to see about the blue one, or does anyone have info on it?

    ta

Are you sure about the red one? I saw it there about three months ago. I'll ask the owner of the blue one if it's still there, i'll see him during the week.

whats the bets if he doesnt banger race it he'll scrap it! :P

That red one is now half way through a restoration. I knew the previous owner well, and that picture was taken in his driveway.

I've seen pictures of the bare shell restoration, and when it's finished, it'll be nice (and according to the pictures, when the crud was cleaned off, it wasn't too bad)

Just off topic but is there any banger racing around the Dublin area anymore ? Used to go to Santry every Sunday but that finished when the go cart racing started.

good stuff, she did look a little rough in the detail pics, i did think there would be lots of rust under here but ya just cant tell some times!

are you looking to buy one?

i bumped into a few on the cortina quest

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 149 ✭✭granadamad

yea but not looking at spending a few grand!
would like to get one for under a grand and priced in mind of its condition!
so one needing some body work would suit me, good interior would be nice or even just if it had good coupe specific parts i could source the rest, ie good rear door interior and that

anything you spotted fit the bill?

    thanks
