    Not good enough.

What's the point in having road side assistance if the RAC are only willing to act as roadside recovery. Something got to do with the fact that the RAC employee did'nt feel like making an effort to repair the car?

Time to contact the RAC and sent them a bill if the car was repairable roadside, even as a temp. repair.

    Customer service............................................................................

i had no headlights and couldnt get to the fuses so i called them.the tow truck came up,driver got out(foreigner) and asked whats wrong so i told him.he shrugged his shoulders and asked "so what do you want me to do" and i replied "could you try fix it" to his reply of "ha ha you must be joking my friend" and proceeded to tell me all he could do was put it in storage until tuesday morning.

RAC is now Hibernian Rescue here; I think only the AA actually offer roadside *assistance* now.

It depends on purely who is driving the tow truck.

Around my area the one garage has the contract for all the rescue companies, so it don't matter who you ring the same guy comes out. In my experience they are not at all interested in fixing it and they just want to take it away to their expensive main stealer's garage.

    Beware.
