There's a Hollywood glossy Easter Rising film due - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1264080/
    http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2009/apr/12/northern-ireland-easter-rising-film

Personally I'd rather have Connolly - Mullan and Bergin are two very good actors.

Don't be expecting anythign great from a film directed by the star of the Irish film Chaos so bad it was only ever released in Germany on DVD and the writer/director of the modern classic The Riddle which was so good that it bypassed cinema, dvd and satellite to premiere within the pages of the Mail on SUnday.

Bit unfair to pick one movie Dunbar has acted in and suggest his directing skills are not up to it:confused:
I'd be more worried about Patrick Bergin, very hit and miss -more of the miss actually:(

The Riddle actually had a premiere in Tallaght UCI.

Dunbar, Jason Barry is attached to direct. I actulaly wuite like Barry, he was after all Henry West's apprentice and is a talented actor. Brendan Foley who is is writing both of Barry's films is an extremely poor writer and an even poorer director.

And went straight from the Tallaght UCI to the inner pages of the Mail on Sunday. Not exactly what I would call a success.

Brendan Foley wrote, directed and produced The Riddle. Fine, it was shite and he looks like a moron.

Now you're saying that Dunbar isn't directing Connolly ? Is that it?

If you actually look at the post of yours which I quoted you will see that I was refering to the Easter Rising film and not Connelly.

Ah yeah it'll be rubbish. Easter Sixteen was called a "prequel to Michael Collins" in one of the links in there.

Holding out hope for Connolly though, as I said I like Mullan
