Abandoned Vehicle problem

    Hello,

can someone give some pointers as to what to do about an abandoned car across from my house?

    The number plates are on.
    No Insurance Dics.
Tax disk expired over a year ago.
    Flat tires all round.
Has been there for 2 weeks now, and hasn't moved an inch.

    It has obviously been abandoned.

The Guards say they will do something about it, but car is still there, 1 week later.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Is it on private or public property?

    Private,contact the management company

    Public,contact the council

It could lose its number plates.
The guards will move it straight away then.

I had a similar issue years ago at my old house. I stopped a Garda on the beat and asked him what my options where. I was told to:

    a) contact the council
    b) give them a shout when it has no plates

    Gaurds wont move it

See if it is possible that the plates might "Fall Off" in the dark
    Report to council next day
    ;)

Whats the make, model and year?

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

As a guard once said to me about a similarly abandoned car 'if the vehicle has no plates tomorrow, it will be moved'.

    It was.
