Hi guys, first post back after lent and wouldnt you know its a problem :)

I thought this was more of a computer problem than anything to do with console modding, if the mod disagrees feel free to move it.

I have a TB hard drive that i formatted to fatx for use in a xbox a while back, I never got around to setting up the xbox so in the mean time the drives life would be better served in my PC.

It is not given a drive letter(which i expected) I thought it would just be a case of plugging it in and going to disk managment tool in windows and reformatting, but it is not reconised by it. It is reconised by the hardware manager.

I also have Hirens boot disk (9.8) and i must have tried every partition manager on the disc in trying to delete the partitions. Most did not reconise the drive, the ones that did threw up errors when trying to preform the operation.

Is there anything i can use?

    Some extra info:

the drive is a Sata TB samsung spin point
    My PC is running XP
I have a laptop that is running ubuntu (I have an enclosure for the drive)

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give
