Zeroing T3 lite

I have a new T3 lite .223, S&B 8x56 scope, wildcat mod, harris bi-pod. So yesterday I got an old table, five gallon drum, a4 target on timber stand. I set up the target a 100 yards, put gun on table, sat on drum and within 20 rounds I had a grouping on 1 inch.

One thing I did find is that the trigger is very hard, you are all ready to fire and then trigger takes such an effort it almost takes you off the target. Not sure where to start on trigger issue.

Here;s the last few shots, bit of a wobble for the one on the left

are you letting the barrel cool properly between shots

the S/B are the cross hairs fine or heavy ,its hard to shoot tight with heavy cross hairs

There should be an adjustment nut behind the trigger guard to drop the trigger pressure. An allen key should do it. There's no need to remove the stock.

Have a similar set up myself picked up a t3 lite a few weeks have not had a chance to zero it yet due to work and weather etc:mad:, hope to get out over the next few days intersting about the trigger pull will let you no how how mine is after i put a few rounds throught it. What brand rounds were you using remember the t3 is a 1 in 8" twist well mine is anyway so heavier rounds should be grouping tighter.
Good luck with the t3 and safe and happy shooting

Will do, out of curiosty what mounts and rings are you using. Looking to get some good rings not a fan of millet with the windage adjustment. Throw up some pics of your rig in the picture section if you have not done already it would be nice to see another t3 lite in all its glory :D

Try get your hands on some sako gamehead 55 grain, there suppose to be pretty good in the tikkas.

I'd get a selection of ammo and try a group with each, my T3 lite grouped best with Hornady 223 55 gr. V-MAX.
