    Anyone got any idea how much we're talking to repair a clutch in an 02 VW golf??

    Probably looking at €700 minimum (very optimisitic) for an independent and well over €1000 for a VW dealership to do it for you.

    Have a look at some of the garages in Northern Ireland. I put in a speculative email to a couple of places last week - one an indie, the other an official Audi dealership and they were bot hcheaper than any place down here.

    A decent indy should be able to do this for around the 500 mark, plus or minus 50 Euro I'd say is a good guide price OP.
