I don't take sugar in my tea. Sugar ruins it.

    Sugar before milk!?

    YOU MONSTER!!!

Just joking, I don't even take suger. :p

But scientifically speaking, I guess the sugar should go in first so it gets a longer time in the heat of the tea so it can be dissolved faster.

And then the milk to cool it down after the dissolving process has ended.

earl grey, water first, tea bag second, no milk, no sugar.

normal tea, bag first, water second, no milk, no sugar.

coffee. normally when i get a coffee i'm too sleepy to even care about the order.

Sugar always first. In fact, the sugar should be in the cup even before the water, so that the boiling water straight from the kettle melts the sugar and it is spread proportionately throughout and not left sitting at the bottom. Hate getting a mouthful of sugar at the end!

    Milk always last!

fairly sure that it's been discussed here before.

but my answer is teabag, sugar, water, *remove teabag*, then milk.

    For me it varies.

    Sometimes it's sugar -> tea -> milk.
Other times it's tea -> sugar -> milk.
And sometimes (becuase I'm wild altogether) it even becomes tea -> milk -> sugar.

Also, I'm surprised at how many people don't take sugar with tea or coffee. I have to have at least two spoons of sugar in mine - on it's own, neither tea nor coffee tastes nice. I can make do without milk but sugar is a must.

Putting sugar in tea just turns it into sugary water, which begs the question, why are you even bothering with the tea bag at all??

When I'm at work, I put the sugar and tea bag in first, add boiling water and put in the milk.

At home, its water first, take out tea bag, add sugar, then milk.

The cup should have built in sugar pouches that disperse when it reaches a certain temperature.
