Feel really low at moment, split up with my ex four months ago, after 14 years together. We have a 6 yr old child together. The reason we split is because he was abusive and i caught him on dating sites,so i ended it.Since that when he has had our son he has been showing him pictures of him with girls, canceling days that he takes our son to go on dates! He makes sure to tell me this in text msgs. Also textin me he has someone better than me now,has introduced her to his family already etc.I am sick of him upsetting me,now he is threatening to put pics of me on the net.In the past week he has been seen with two different girls driving his car.I have told him i have moved on so why is he doing all this to me and rubbing my nose in it with these girls.
    Any views on this,thanks.

Why? To put it simply, he is immature. This type of behvaiour should convince you that you and your child are much better off without him.

If he is threatening to put pictures of you on the internet without your permission, then speak to the Gardai and see if they can offer some advice.

Yep, have you got these messages still on your phone???? keep any further communication from him, save it. You can get text messages printed out for a fee afaik. Go to the garda with any sinister ones, including the threats of photos on the net, they may tell you theres nothing they can do, but tell them you want them to make a record of the complaint. Then stop him from seeing your son, and when he takes you to court show the judge the texts/emails. Until then ignore him, dont even reply to his messages

Wow. He sounds like an unstable and possibly dangerous individual. Nothing to add other than what's been said. Keep track of everything and go to the Gardai with a solicitor if this gets any more serious or his behaviour becomes anymore threatening.

So why is he doing this? You answered already. He's abusive. He's an abusive git. Rejoice when you see him with other girls: they're his target now and you're in the clear.

what a p rick. As all the other posters said, keep track of all the messages, go to the guards about the threats. He probably wouldnt do it-just loves causing you pain but i bet the guards and a solicitor would put the wind up the little bully. you poor thing..

    +1

    This is excellent advicea.

This guy sounds a little dangerous and psychotic. It sounds like he wants you to be jealous. It's pretty pathetic. You've broken up. You've moved on but he obviously hasn't.

Sounds like a right s**t head to be honest. Do what the previous posters have recommended you to do.

    The very best of luck.
