Anyone else do this lads. Very convenient. I have a Nokia 3120 classic but most phones will let you do this.

Just set the phone on the table, record what your doing. Leave the phone where it is, and listen to it back on your PC through the bluetooth (using the Nokia PC Suite software). Edit/Delete the files if you dont like them. Not good quality but quickest way, no matter where you are, to get it down before it leaves your head.

As a demo recorded - just to make sure you don't forget the tune - then it's a great to to get it down! Even if for no other reason than you always have your phone with you...

Four track for the iphone.. lol. I dunno, I think if you were going to the bother of having four tracks you would want something better than the onboard mic on the iphone... or is it good?

The ease of my suggestion is more based on the bluetooth really. Everyone knows that you can record demos with your phone. But being able to listen back to them with the phone on the other side of the room is what makes it great. You dont have to transfer across to SD card, or connect to USB (not that the b*stards gave me the cable anyway).

this could revolutionise the industry, bands in the future will now have two options when recording their album.

    a)

    or

    b)
