    Any experiences?

I'll be spending the summer in Galway, doing a UREKA placement, and I've been offered a place in the Corrib Village student residences.

What are they like? How many per bathroom/kitchen? What sorts of on-site facilities are there?

Youre lucky, during the summer it's pretty quiet, just tourists staying there.

    • What are they like?
Well, a dump really, they look like prison cells in the inside, most flats are mouldy, furniture isn't that great and neither is the kitchen or batrooms.

    • How many per bathroom/kitchen?
Theres either 4 or 5 per flat, theres a twin room and either 2 or 3 single bedrooms. Theres 2 bathrooms, one smaller one with just a basin and toilet, and one with toilet, basin and shower/bath.

    • What sort of on-site facilities are there?
Well theres a shop, laundrette, waste compactor, tennis court, playground and there should be a restaurant during the summer.

Overall it's ok to live in for a while, it's just very quiet in the summer, that and its a good 15 minutes walk into town.
