I got an ipod off a family memeber used and it has a volume limit turned on with a password protecting it.
Is there any way i can reset this password or make the volume louder WITHOUT deleting any songs.

    1. Plug in your iPod.
    2. Wait for it to load completely.
    3. Open "My Computer" (or computer if on Vista).
    4. Double click on your ipod and go to iPod_control.
    5. Go to the folder named Device.
    6. If your iPod is locked, there will be a file _locked . Rename the file to _unlocked.
    7. Safely remove your iPod and it will be .

    Note:
*Your ipod needs to be in disk mode (it's an option in itunes)
*You computer has to be set so you can view hidden files. (use google to find out how to do this for your operating system)
