For 20 euro specsavers will give you a trial. They will be for your prescription too so it will give you a better idea i would say!
No ive never worn them before but i went in to specsavers and they are getting the trials in for me!

no you cant just buy them off the net. they will look for a prescription and most if not all will ring the opticians to get them to back it up too.
if you get a fit in ss, the price covers the trial lenses, being taught how to put them in and take them out , taught how to clean if they are monthlies and a year of contact lense aftercares aswell

I have to agree with the other posters.
Go to specs savers & get the free trial, you just pay 20 euro for the eye test. (you can get that free too if you have a medical card)
I can't stress enough how important it is to be shown how to use them & how to clean & care for them properly.

I wear contacts and would strongly suggest that you get the necessary eye test, contacts lens fitting + additional eye health checks as well. I'm not overly familiar with the trial offers etc. but from my experience ask exactly what inbuilt costs there are. Be sure to get supporting prescriptions/paper work etc. . Personally, I found that monthly's though cheaper became uncomfortable after 10 days despite cleaning properly etc. so I switched to dailies and would recommend focus dailies no end.

This is a link to a place I can recommended for quality/cost.
