hi. my existing attic joists are 100mm fixed to the sloping roof about 2 feet up from the external walls. most of the load rests on the stud walls in the middle which is fine, but i want to go for 250mm of insulation with flooring on top. does anyone know of a lightweight option to give the extra 150mm of height and provide a stable base for a floor? it's just for storage, not living in etc but i do want it to be strong. i'm slow to throw up another heavy set of 2 inch joists, on top of the storage weight i'll be adding.
    cheers
