Just a heads up that Julia Bradbury, who also did a series recently on Alfred Wainwright's epic guides to the Lake District, is doing a series of six programs on BBC4, walking Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk from the west to the east coast of Northern England, taking in the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks. The first program was last night, but I'm sure it'll be repeated. Lots of pretty scenery. It's also available on BBC HD for anyone that has it.
