    If you are 21 and living at home, I know the SW is based on what your parents make. If they are making about 150k is that too much to get anything?

    i think it's actually under 24. Yes it is means tested unless you've made enough prsi contributions. I don't know what level the threshold is at.
    Also remember that for people under 20, signing on for the first time, the dole has been halved since the budget.

    Unless your parents on that wage have a massive mortgage or about 100 children, they are probably earning too much for you to get anything from Job Seeker's Allowance.
