I want to book tickets for an event that I'm going to over the weekend on my Mother's credit card. It says that "Tickets being held at the Box Office can only be retrieved by the card holder with the original credit card used for this purchase. Please also bring your booking confirmation number" ...

I'm wondering how strict they are on this cause my Mother is major paro about her credit card  and I seriously doubt she's going to let me take it on a night out as I have a history of loosing stuff ie keys etc when I'm out :o

Anyone know?? I'll obviously have the booking confirmation number and ID etc.. Cheers :)

I've only very rarely been asked for my credit card.

If you have the name, the confirmation number and the number of the card you should get them easily enough if you explain it was booked with your Ma's card.

It's likely a machine you swipe your card through to get the tickets.

I doubt you can get around this condition.

I've only seen this in Cinema's, no venue in Dublin has this function.

I've never had to bring the credit card I booked with when collecting tickets. If you print out the booking ref they sent you, you should be ok.
