Was just talking about this movie tonight in the pub. I have to say this was one of the best movies of its time. Just wondering what other people thought of it.

I have to agree with the OP - it's a bit of a classic.. great dance soundtrack (not even a fan of the genre so much anymore) but it's that the songs are placed so well. Like Orbital's "Belfast":

I paid €30 to get my local DVD retailer to find the film on DVD.. and paid €20 for the soundtrack.

It's suprisingly well-written too, for the most part.

I bought my copy in Canada, and they changed a few things about it which i wasn't best pleased with

the only one I remember atm, is when they are just arriving at the party and the chip shop lady yells 'it's dynasty' , as in din-asty , but on my dvd there is a terrible dub of her voice shouting 'die-nasty' for the american market I guess.

maybe it's a petty thing to get annoyed about, but I just can't watch the movie again until I get a proper r2 dvd.

There was also an extended version brought out and it ruined the movie. There where parts that looked like they where filmed a few years after the movie was finished. They where then added to look like they where cut out of the original but they didnt fit in with the atmosphere of the movie.
