I know Courtown well - it's a really nice country course. Lots of trees, plenty of ups and downs and surprisingly tricky in places (not always a thrash and bash course). It's not as pristine or professional as Seafield but it's a lot more fun and, I reckon, a better round of golf.

Let me know what you think once you've played.

Played both of them quite a bit.

Must say Courtown is a great track. Seafield you can have. He has used the course to sell houses and apartments on it and has taken from the course. It is also quite short. You could always go 15 mins up the road and play Arklow, a little gem of a course.

I play courtown 2or 3 times a year and it's a cracking coarse you need to be fairly straight off the tee or you will be playing pinball in the trees . not overly long but layed out well . Enjoy:D

Courtown every time. A great track where no two holes are the same.

Just back from a break at Seafield Hotel. Didn't play but walked around the course. A lot of it built around the houses and hotel and it was holding a lot of water from the day's rain. Have you considered Coolattin?
