App Transfer?

I have bought a truckload of my apps for my iPod touch. I think now that I am going to get an iPhone, can I transfer the apps over to it? or do they just work on one device.

I think you can transfer usage if you use the same itunes account.........i think

Just make sure that you're signed in to your iTunes account when you first sync it and they'll work no problem.
