    Software Developer GUI - Cork

    Hi guys,

    We are a market leader in online business and have immediate position available for an experienced Software Developer to join our dev team based in Cork.

    Required:
    Degree in IT / Comp Science or related discipline
    3 years experience in a related role

    Essential:
    Experience in Open Laszlo or a similar event-driven GUI programming environments e.g. WPF, Swing
    Database driven Website design and development
    Knowledge of OO design principles

    Preferable:
    Programming skills from an OO perspective:
    C++, Java
    Scripting ability in Perl, PHP, Python, Django, Bash
    XML, CSS, Javascript
    FreeBSD / Ubuntu or other linux experience
    PosgreSQL / MySQL administration
    Lighttpd / Apache

    If successful you will join our interface team responsible for developing new features related to our online real-time statistics reporting suite.
    Above all the suitable candidate must have a passion for development both within a team and individually, working to deadlines, adhere to our internal quality standards, while following current best-practice guidelines.

    There is a 6 month probationary period with a move to a permanent position.
    Salary: Neg DOE
