    If you had to get rid of any of the bank holidays which ones would you do away with?

    New Year's Day 01/01
    St. Patrick's 17/03
    Easter Monday (Varies)
    May Bank Hol (Varies)
    June Bank Hol (Varies)
    August Bank Hol (Varies)
    Halloween (Varies)
    Christmas Day (25/12)
    St. Stephen's Day (26/12)

    If you had to get rid of a Bank Holiday which would you get rid of? 15 votes

    The question is not what you would add to the list. The question is, If you had to get rid of a Bank Holiday which one would you get rid off.

    I will put up a post putting asking for additional ones later!!!

    TBH & IMO - silly question, 99.99% of people are going to answer WTF are you talking about ? we need more bank holiday weekends not less.

    So to kinda answer your question I would suggest scrapping the weekday bank holiday and move them into a weekend.

    But I don't think that there would be much support for moving Paddy's day from Tuesday 17th to Monday 16th or that could be Thursday 17th so move bank holiday to Monday 21st.

    TBH there was a proposal to reduce the number of BH down in the news a few days ago hence the question.

    TBH I think your just being lazy by thinking we need more :D but I would also have to agree. :)
