NTFS to Mac?

    Is there anyway I can copy files from an external NTFS formatted drive to MAC?

    Afaik you can. That is: copy from NTFS *to* Mac. But you can't write or modify NTFS.

    As the professor told it :)

    If you really have to write to NTFS, you could look at ntfg-3g for Mac. There's always some risk of data loss but I haven't heard of any incidents yet; even now that it's used as standard in many Linux distributions as well.
